Robert De Quincy

Robert was born in 1172 in Winchester, Hampshire, England. Robert's father was Saier De Quincy and his mother was Margaret De Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were Robert De Quincy and Orabilis De Mar; his maternal grandparents were Robert III De Beaumont and Petronella De Grentesmesnil. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Reginald, Roger, Loretta, Beatrice, Orabella and Hawise. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 47 in 1219 in Palestine.
