Alice was born about 1300 in Hadley, Staffordshire, England.  Alice's father was Hugh De Audley and her mother was Isolde De Mortimer.  Her paternal grandparents were James De Audley and Ela Longespee; her maternal grandparents were Ralph De Mortimer and Gwladys verch Llewelyn. She had three brothers named Hugh, Nicholas and James.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died on January 11th, 1373 in Greystoke, Cumberland, England.  She was buried in Durham Cathedral, Durham, England.

‌Alice and Ralph were married in a religious ceremony on January 14th, 1326 in Stretton Audley, Oxfordshire, England.  They had five sons and six daughters, named John, Ralph, Robert, Thomas, Alexander, Catherine, Eupheme, Eleanor, Margaret, Elizabeth and Isabel.
