Alexander Borthwick

Alexander was born about 1473 in Nenthorn, East Lothian, Scotland. Alexander's father was William Borthwick and his mother was Mariota De Hopepringle. His paternal grandfather was William Borthwick; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Hopringill and Margaret Turnbull. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Adam, Margaret, Agnes, Christine, Mary and Catherine. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died before August 17th, 1513 in Scotland.
