DeForest B Whitney

DeForest B was born on August 17th, 1891 in Caton, Steuben, New York. DeForest B's father was James Lewis Whitney and his mother was Flora A Chase. His maternal grandparents were Levi Solomon Chase and Minerva A Fenton. He had five brothers and a sister, named Jefferson Lewis, Leslie Abram, James Leon, William Cowen, Oliver Wilkinson and Mabel Grace May. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 27 on October 12th, 1918 in Galveston, Texas.
