Joseph Laru Hillard 
Joseph Laru was born on April 1st, 1889 in Ferris Township, Montcalm County, Michagan. Joseph Laru's father was Cassius Marcibilus Clay Hillard and his mother was Olive Sabra Lewis. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Hillard and Margaret Ann Bordner. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Adelbert Oscar, Jolly Washington, son, Flora Ellen and Amy Lauvica. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Ila Gladys. He died at the age of 1 on January 6th, 1891 in Ferris Township, Montcalm County, Michagan.-
