Amy Lauvica was born on July 31st, 1879 in Richland Twp., Montcalm County, Michigan. Amy Lauvica's father was Cassius Marcibilus Clay Hillard and her mother was Olive Sabra Lewis. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Hillard and Margaret Ann Bordner. She had four brothers and a sister, named Adelbert Oscar, Jolly Washington, Joseph Laru, son and Flora Ellen. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had a half-sister named Ila Gladys. She died at the age of 91 on January 21st, 1971 in Ferris Township, Montcalm County, Michagan.-
