Edna Mary was born on January 23rd, 1899 in Bridgewater, Williams County, Ohio. Edna Mary's father was Ellsworth Ervin Hillard and her mother was Mary Frances Benner. Her paternal grandparents were William Henry Hillard and Elizabeth E. Bailey. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Wilbur Raymond, Ernest G., Bertha Fern and Blanch Elma. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 79 in December 1978 in Montpelier, Williams County, Ohio.-
