Emory Park was born on January 1st, 1893 in Jerry City, Wood County, Ohio. Emory Park's father was Harvey Bateson and his mother was Martha Jane Hillard. His maternal grandparents were Daniel Hillard and Martha McDonald. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Bert R., Nelson E., Della May, Laura Esther, Sarah Edith, Bertha Blanche, Cora Ethel and Flora Ethna. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 in June 1968 in Tontagany, Wood County, Ohio.-
