Anthony was born in 1485 in Down Ampney, Gloucestershire, England.1 Anthony's father was John Hungerford and his mother was Margaret Blount. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hungerford and Chistina Halle; his maternal grandparents were Edmund Blount and Ellen Hall. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Christian, Edmund, Thomas, Ann, Frideswide and Jane. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 74 in 1559 in Down Ampney, Gloucestershire, England.1 -
