Frideswide Hungerford

Frideswide was born in 1485 in Down Ampney, Gloucestershire, England.¹ Frideswide's father was John Hungerford and her mother was Margaret Blount. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hungerford and Chistina Halle; her maternal grandparents were Edmund Blount and Ellen Hall. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Anthony, Edward, Christian, Edmund, Thomas, Ann and Jane. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 46 in 1531.¹
