Walter Hoyt 
Walter was born on June 9th, 1616 in Upway, Dorchester, Dorset, England.1 Walter's father was Simon Hoyt and his mother was Susanna Smith. His maternal grandparents were Richard Smith and Rebecca Buswell. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Joshua, Samuel, Benjamin, Agnes, Hanna, Mary, Deborah, Miriam, Sarah and Miriam. He was the second oldest of the fourteen children. He had seven half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Moses, John, Edward, Thomas, Oliver, Samuel, Elias, Mary, Abigail, Anna, Hannah and Salice. He died at the age of 81 on January 10th, 1698 in Windsor, Fairfield, CT, USA.1 -
