Thomas Hoyt 
Thomas was born on September 20th, 1618 in Upway, Dorsetshire, England.1 Thomas' father was Simon Hoyt and his mother was Susanna Smith. His maternal grandparents were Richard Smith and Rebecca Buswell. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John, Walter, William, Joshua, Samuel, Benjamin, Agnes, Hanna, Mary, Deborah, Miriam, Sarah and Miriam. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children. He had seven half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Moses, John, Edward, Thomas, Oliver, Samuel, Elias, Mary, Abigail, Anna, Hannah and Salice. He died at the age of 37 on September 9th, 1656 in Stamford, Fairfield, CT, USA.1 -
