Rachel Cookingham

Rachel was born in 1820 in Jackson, Michigan, USA.¹ Rachel's father was John P Cookingham and her mother was Hannah Vail. Her maternal grandparents were Israel I Vail and Eleanor DeLong. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Michael, Augustus, Israel, Martin, Lavina, Mary Ann, Phebe, Nancy and Diana. She is the fifth youngest of the ten children.
