Phebe was born on October 26th, 1812 in Yates, New York, USA.1 Phebe's father was John P Cookingham and her mother was Hannah Vail. Her maternal grandparents were Israel I Vail and Eleanor DeLong. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Michael, Augustus, Israel, Martin, Lavina, Mary Ann, Rachel, Nancy and Diana. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 43 on August 3rd, 1856 in New London, Ohio, USA.1 -
