Martin Cookingham

Martin was born in 1828 in Yates, New York, USA.¹ Martin's father was John P Cookingham and his mother was Hannah Vail. His maternal grandparents were Israel I Vail and Eleanor DeLong. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Michael, Augustus, Israel, Lavina, Mary Ann, Phebe, Rachel, Nancy and Diana. He is the youngest of the ten children.
