Sarah Babcock 
Sarah was born on January 20th, 1761 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, USA.1 Sarah's father was Timothy Babcock and her mother was Thankful Read. Her paternal grandparents were James Babcock and Sarah Vose; her maternal grandparents were John Reid and Lydia Caswell. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, James, John Read, Robert G, Anne and Louisa M. She is the oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Timothy, Jesse, Lois, Grace and Desire.-
