Sarah Rachel was born on December 3rd, 1755 in Randolph County, North Carolina (or 31 Dec 1755). Sarah Rachel's father was Semore York and her mother was Sylvania L Aldredge. Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah York and Sarah Seymour; her maternal grandparents were William Ezekial Aldridge and Elizabeth Symons. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Jeremiah, John, William Alfred, Jabez, Shubal, Jesse, Isaac H., Semore, Nancy Dorcas, Martha and Tabitha. She died at the age of 60 on May 2nd, 1816 in Randolph County, North Carolina.-
