Isaac H. was born in Sandy Creek, Randolph County, NC. Isaac H.'s father was Semore York and his mother was Sylvania L Aldredge. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah York and Sarah Seymour; his maternal grandparents were William Ezekial Aldridge and Elizabeth Symons. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jeremiah, John, William Alfred, Jabez, Shubal, Jesse, Semore, Sarah Rachel, Nancy Dorcas, Martha and Tabitha. He died in 1806 in Randolph County, North Carolina. He was buried in Old Trodgen Cemetary.-
