James Barnett

James was born in 1761 in Mecklenburg, NC, USA.¹ James' father was Hugh Barnett and his mother was Elizabeth Charity Ashmore. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Barnett. He had a brother and six sisters, named Robert, Margaret, Elizabeth, Hannah, Agness, Mary and Dorcas. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died in IL, USA.¹
