Dorcas Barnett 
Dorcas was born on May 27th, 1771 in Mecklenburg, NC, USA.1 Dorcas' father was Hugh Barnett and her mother was Elizabeth Charity Ashmore. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Barnett. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, James, Margaret, Elizabeth, Hannah, Agness and Mary. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on November 15th, 1846 in Marshall, TN, USA.1
