Margaret was born on January 17th, 1675 in Hartford Co., CT. Margaret's father was John I Seymour and her mother was Mary Watson. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Seymour and Mercy Ruscoe; her maternal grandparents were John Watson and Margaret Smith. She had eight brothers and a sister, named John, Capt. Thomas, Zachary, Richard, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Zachary, Zachariah and Mary. She is the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
