John Seymour 
John was born on June 12th, 1666 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT. John's father was John I Seymour and his mother was Mary Watson. His paternal grandparents were Richard Seymour and Mercy Ruscoe; his maternal grandparents were John Watson and Margaret Smith. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Capt. Thomas, Zachary, Richard, Jonathan, Nathaniel, Zachary, Zachariah, Mary and Margaret. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 on May 17th, 1748 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.-
