John Garn 
John was born on May 5th, 1807 in St. Clair Twp, Bedfrd, Pa. John's father was John Garn and his mother was Susanna Pringle. His paternal grandparents were John Garn and Margaret Lein; his maternal grandparents are William Pringle and Mary Wertz. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Daniel, Samuel, Joseph Ickes, David, Martin, Phillip James, Margaret Rebecca, Christena, Elizabeth, Mary and Susan. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 61 on July 4th, 1868.-
