Jacob Garn 
Jacob was born on June 4th, 1798 in St. Clair Twp, Bedfrd, Pa. Jacob's father was John Garn and his mother was Susanna Pringle. His paternal grandparents were John Garn and Margaret Lein; his maternal grandparents are William Pringle and Mary Wertz. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Samuel, John, Joseph Ickes, David, Martin, Phillip James, Margaret Rebecca, Christena, Elizabeth, Mary and Susan. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 74 on December 4th, 1872.-
