William Brooke 
William was born on October 9th, 1556 in St Leonard's, Eastcheap, London, England. William's father was John Brooke and his mother was Elizabeth Whitman. His paternal grandparents were Robert Brooke and Katheryn (Westby or Weld); his maternal grandparents are Edward Whitman and Bridget Kellond. He had six brothers and nine sisters, named John, John, Robert, Nathaniel, Thomas, Benjamin, Susan, Joanne, Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary, Katherine, Sarah, Rebecca and Martha. He was the oldest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 37 on December 17th, 1593 in St Leonard's, Eastcheap, London, England.-
