Amialie Levinia was born on March 8th, 1844. Amialie Levinia's father was William Francis Wells Jr. and her mother was Amy A. Roe. Her paternal grandparents were William Francis Wells Sr. and Kelton; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Roe and Levina Ann Glover. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John F., Samuel J., Andrew J., Reuben J., Mary F. and Amanda J .. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 53 on March 14th, 1897 in Hart Co., GA, USA.General Notes
Amelia L. Wells Morris Kin. William Wells who died at the Alamo with
Jim Bowie , Travis ,Crockett Etc Could have been one of the six who
survived
and was killed by order of Santa Anna after flag of truce. Possible at
the time
Davy Crockett was Pleading for his life. All men were then piled onto a
burning fire and all remains destroyed and all ashe burried in common
grave.
William Wells would be the grandfather of Amialie. SEE Cora Dudley
: All of our next generation of Wells kinfolk would be found in
Texas according to Cora Dudley's letter. Amelia is buried at Cross Roads
Bapt. Church beside her husband and is one of the founding members of
