Thomas C. was born in 1789. Thomas C.'s father was Ambrose Rucker and his mother was Elizabeth Lucas. His paternal grandparents were Ambrose Rucker and Mary Tinsley; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Lucas and Martha. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Anthony, Garland, Ambrose L., Nancy L., Elizabeth S., Sophia, Frances, Tinsley L. and Mary F.. He died at the age of 71 in 1860.-
