Ambrose L. was born about 1801. Ambrose L.'s father was Ambrose Rucker and his mother was Elizabeth Lucas. His paternal grandparents were Ambrose Rucker and Mary Tinsley; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Lucas and Martha. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas C., Anthony, Garland, Nancy L., Elizabeth S., Sophia, Frances, Tinsley L. and Mary F.. He died in 1832.-
