James Rucker 
James was born about 1758 in Amherst Co., VA, USA. James' father was Benjamin Rucker and his mother was Betsy. His paternal grandparents were John Rucker and Susannah. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Bennett, Ransom, Gideon, Lucy, Millie Mildred and Sophia. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died on September 10th, 1819 in Rutherford Co., TN, USA.-
