Lafayette was born on June 3rd, 1848 in Mac,Taylor Co.,Kentucky. Lafayette's father was John C. Warren and his mother was Celia Underwood. His paternal grandparents were Avery Warren and Margaret Compton; his maternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Hiram T., John L., James C., Elizabeth, Nancy A., Mary Elizabeth, Mary Elzy, Theresa, Harriet Jeanet, Alice K. and Julia M.. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 65 on June 3rd, 1913 in Taylor Co.,Kentucky. He was buried in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery,LaRue Co.,Kentucky.-
