George W. Underwood

George W. was born in 1854 in Taylor Co.,Kentucky. George W.'s father was William C. Underwood and his mother is Mariah J. Druien. His paternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Hiram, Thomas, Jesse, William J., Sarah, Nancy, Celia, Mariah J., Ursula and Martha F.. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 80 on March 14th, 1934 in Danville,Indiana. He was buried in Danville South Cemetery,Danville,Indiana.

‌George W. and Nancy Ann were married in a religious ceremony in 1870 in LaRue Co.,Kentucky. They had a son and four daughters, named James, Rosetta, Mary, Georgia Ann and Mattie Myrtle.
