John Cannon was born in 1805 in Green Co.,Kentucky. John Cannon's father is David Skaggs and his mother is Margaraet Cannon. His paternal grandfather was Henry Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Mary Thompson. He had four brothers named William David, Henry, David ,Jr. and Richard. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 51 on September 4th, 1856 in Taylor Co.,Kentucky.-
