He had four brothers and four sisters, named James Vontress, Holland T., Elijah Carroll, William Marrell, Nora Palmer, Sheila Mayrea, Laura Norene and Vilera Gerline. He died on January 31st, 1924 in Green Co.,Kentucky. He was buried in Carisle-Milby Family Cemetery,Hwy 61 & Pittman Creek Hill,Green Co.,Kentucky.-
