Thomas Wilbur "Monch" was born on March 26th, 1877 in Preston,Kemper County,MS. Thomas Wilbur "Monch"'s father was James Madison Luke and his mother was Nancy Elizabeth Baughman. His paternal grandparents were James R. Luke and Martha Reed?reid; his maternal grandparents were David Baughman and Maria Ann Stephens. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Claiborne, Walter Ivy "Lish", David Franklin, James Edward, Daniel Monroe, Emma Jean, Clara S. and Georgia Ann. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 on November 28th, 1964 in ,Winston County,MS. He was buried in Middleton Cemetery,Winston County,MS.-
