William Keahey 
William was born in 1803 in Richmond Co.,North Carolina. William's father was George Keahey and his mother is Sarah McFarland. His paternal grandparents were William Mac Keachy and Margaret Unknown. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, George ,Jr. and Margaret. He is the second oldest of the four children.
They had five sons and four daughters, named George W., John Samuel, Miles, James D., William Greene, Margaret, Nancy Emaline, Martha and Sarah.
