John Keahey 
John was born in 1806 in Richmond Co.,North Carolina. John's father was George Keahey and his mother is Sarah McFarland. His paternal grandparents were William Mac Keachy and Margaret Unknown. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, George ,Jr. and Margaret. He is the second youngest of the four children.
John and Sarah Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in June 1834. They had six sons and two daughters, named James, William, George, John Findley, Samuel, Thomas Jefferson, Mary Ann and Sara P..
