William Franklin Johnston 
William Franklin was born in 1883 in Wallis,Austin Co.,Texas. William Franklin's father was William E. Johnston and his mother was Elizabeth Miles Allen. His paternal grandparents were John L. Johnson and Eliza McGee; his maternal grandparents were Miles Norton Allen and Mary Penelope Dodson. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James Woodall, Leander, Francis May McGee, Maria Jane, Alice Lizzie, Penelope Elizabeth and Eliza. He is the youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named William Franklin.-
