He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Curtis Beason, John Curtis, Ozias Denton ,Dr., William Franklin Smith, Jesse Abner ,Jr., Benjamin Franklin, James Monroe, Michael, Sarah Ememline, Martha Jane, Hulda Ann and Mary Ellen.
