Jewell Mae was born on May 7th, 1911 in Rosboro,Pike County,Arkansas.1 Jewell Mae's father was Jesse B. Garrett and her mother was Mary W. (Nettie) Daniels. Her maternal grandparents were Franklin Columbus Daniels and Mary Lou Finch. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Doyle, Jesse Edwin, Grover, Charles, David Columbus, Hazel Esther and Virginia Cecil (Cecilia?). She died at the age of 74 on February 21st, 1986 in West Covina,California. She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery,California.2 -
