Obituary: Dresden Enterprise Jan 3, 1913 Page 4 - Deaths Harvest Column:
Aunt Betsy Bradberry, aged about eighty-five years, died Tuesday, Dec 30, 1912, at the home of her son, Bob Bradberry, five miles northeast of Dresden, after a brief illness. The body was laid to rest on Wednesday at the family burying ground.
Betsy was born in Middle Tenn around Clarksville or Nashville. They married in Montgomery Co Tn. Just after their marriage they came to western Tn in a covered wagon and settled in what was known in later yrs as the Bradberry Community. Betsy's brother, Josiah Henry Ford, came with them.
Terry Coats writes: Betsy told her family that she was from the "tidewater district of "Old Virginia". The 1850 census says that she was born Va. It was she and son Bob that gave the land in Dresden for the Bradberry Cemetery
