Nellie E. was born on March 26th, 1883 in Austin Co.,Texas. Nellie E.'s father was Ben F. Davis and her mother was Mary Eliza Allen. Her maternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston. She had seven sisters named Unnamed, Frankie E., Sue A., Winnie E., Marguerite E., Mamie Eyrle and Bennie Myrle. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 27 on May 13th, 1910.-
