Her maternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston. She had seven sisters named Unnamed, Nellie E., Frankie E., Sue A., Winnie E., Marguerite E. and Mamie Eyrle. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 83 on August 14th, 1982 in Houston,Harris Co.,Texas.-
