Richard : James Richard was born on February 18th, 1881 in TN.1 Richard : James Richard's father was John Wesley Sr. Bradberry and his mother was California Jane "Nancy" Melton. His paternal grandparents were ROBERT SAMPLE , SR BRADBERRY and BETSY : MARY ELIZABETH FORD. He had a brother named Daniel H. "Dan'l". He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Monroe, Steven, Joseph "Jodie", Rufus, Brodie, Maude, Lira, Eula Mae "Eular", Catherine and Eva. He died at the age of 84 on August 19th, 1965.1 General Notes

Feb 23, 1958: Friends of Richard Bradbury met Sunday, to help him celebrate his 76th birthday with a dinner and family celebration. Those present were: M/M Richard Bradbury, M/M Mayo Teague, Mrs. Daisy Teague, M/M Claudie Bradbury, Mrs Mattie Bradbury, Miss Gertrude Bradbury, M/M Clarence Highfill, M/M Jodie Hathcoat, Mrs John Bradbury, M/M Rufus Bradbury and Sammy, M/M Bryant Bradbury and girls, and Mrs. Robert Green of Sharon, M/M Thomas Bradbury and Betty, and M/M J.P. Sawyers of Gleason and M/M Jim Cunningham of Martin.
