Agnes was born in 1134 in Whitby, York, England.  Agnes' father was William III de Percy and her mother was Alice de Tonbridge de Clare.  Her paternal grandparents were Alan (Algernon) de Percy and Emma de Gaunt; her maternal grandparents were Richard FitzGilbert de Clare and Alice de Gernons le Meschines of Chester. She had a brother and a sister, named Alan and Maud.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Walter, William, Alice and Emma.  She died before October 13th, 1204 in Northumberland, England.


Agnes' family with Joscelin de Louvaine

‌Agnes and Joscelin were married in a religious ceremony after 1154.  They had five sons and three daughters, named Jocelin, Ralph, Richard, Henry, Robert, Maud de Louvain, Alice and Eleanor.
