Rachel Shipley 
Rachel was born in 1738 in Anne Arundel, Maryland. Rachel's father was Robert Jr. Shipley and her mother was Sarah Rachel Dorsey. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Shipley and Elizabeth Stevens. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Edward, Robert, George, Nancy, Ann, Naomi, Mary, Margaret and Lucy. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 66 in 1804 in Washington County, Kentucky.-
