Margaret Shipley 
Margaret was born in 1752 in Anne Arundel, Maryland or Scotland. Margaret's father was Robert Jr. Shipley and her mother was Sarah Rachel Dorsey. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Shipley and Elizabeth Stevens. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Edward, Robert, George, Rachel, Nancy, Ann, Naomi, Mary and Lucy. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 68 in 1820 in Mecklenburg County, South Carolina.-
