Edward Shipley 
Edward was born in 1736. Edward's father was Robert Jr. Shipley and his mother was Sarah Rachel Dorsey. His paternal grandparents were Robert Shipley and Elizabeth Stevens. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, George, Rachel, Nancy, Ann, Naomi, Mary, Margaret and Lucy. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 in 1800 in Mercer County, Kentucky.-
