Nancy Alice was born on October 28th, 1868 in Kanawha County, Virginia. Nancy Alice's father was LaFayette M. Shaver and her mother was Eliza Virginia Martin. Her paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Caroline Sarah Harper; her maternal grandparents are Dioclesian Martin and UNKNOWN Catherine. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jesse Martin, William B., Marcus Lafayette, Andrew Johnson, Dioclesian Martin, Thomas Stanton, James Hayes, Josephine, Rosilla C., Virginia Elizabeth, Scynthia F. and Minnie G.. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 89 on November 3rd, 1957.General Notes
