Her paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Caroline Sarah Harper; her maternal grandparents are Dioclesian Martin and UNKNOWN Catherine. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jesse Martin, William B., Marcus Lafayette, Andrew Johnson, Dioclesian Martin, Thomas Stanton, James Hayes, Josephine, Rosilla C., Virginia Elizabeth, Nancy Alice and Scynthia F.. She was the second youngest of the thirteen children. She died after 1898.-
