John Shaver 
John was born on July 5th, 1847. John's father was Paul Shaver and his mother was Mary Runyon. His paternal grandparents were John David Shaver and Mary Parsons. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Joseph, William Henry, Delilah A., Martha Jane, Nancy J., Henrietta, Sarah A., Catherine, Mary Melinda and Louisa. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 73 on February 12th, 1921 in Straight Creek, Roane County, Virginia.General Notes
